David Taylor

David Taylor studied percussion performance at the University of Cincinnati/College-Conservatory of Music. David was the Co-Director of Music Ministries at Our Lady of Hope since 2010. David performs with the Michigan Opera Theater Orchestra and subs with the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. He has been on countless recordings, including ESPN college football theme, and the new 2010 Looney Tunes Theme music. David has performed with many Broadway National Tours including, Mamma Mia and The Lion King. David has been a member of Wayne State University’s music faculty since 1992, where his duties include teaching jazz drumset and jazz combos. He has toured Europe, South Africa and Japan with Chris Collins. He has taught at the Interlochen National Music Camp. David is a Vic Firth Artist.
