Solemnity of All Saints, Sunday, November 1, 2026

A Holy Day of Obligation

The Solemnity of All Saints falls on a Sunday this year, that means we will celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints at all Sunday Masses that weekend.

Saturday | Vigil Mass on October 31st at 4:00 PM

Sunday | 9 AM and 11 AM Mass

We honor Saints to remind us what is possible for a person who loves God. The Saints have stories as varied as our own. On this Solemnity of All Saints, we remember this garden of holiness, rich with diverse flowerings of a holy life. When you look at the life of your favorite Saint, ask yourself, “How can I imitate this person? What is possible for me when I love God?”

All Souls’ Day Evening Prayer, Monday, November 2, 2026

The day after All Saints’ Day is All Souls’ Day. All Souls’ Day is not a Holy Day of Obligation, however it is still a meaningful day in our Catholic faith as we remember and pray for those who have gone before us. At St. Blase we will have an All Souls’ Day Evening Prayer at 7:00 PM on November 2nd.

Join us in quiet prayer as we remember our faithful departed. In particular we recall those buried from St. Blase in the past year, however this service is for all those who have gone before us and there will be an opportunity for you to light a candle for your loved ones. This is a beautiful prayer service where we sing and give thanks as we remember with love and gratitude those who have gone before us, knowing they remain a part of us as we remain part of them. If you have never experienced this wonderful service, please consider joining us this year. It is truly a beautiful experience.
