Christmas Giving Tree 2025
As we did for Thanksgiving, we will be offering our families a Meijer gift card to purchase food and gifts for their families this Christmas Season. We have been giving gift cards the past couple years and it has been very well received by the families we assisted. This process gives each family the freedom to buy what they want and need according to their individual preferences.
Any donation is appreciated!
With the money that is collected, Christian Service will purchase the gift cards needed, and then distribute them to our families most in need in our local community.
To donate, please click on the button below or stop by theparish office to make your donation. Checks are payable to St. Blase Parish.
Please also check out the various organizations that St. Blase is highlighting this Christmas season. You can find their donation links listed below. The links will take you directly to that organization’s donation page.

Message from Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers: “Give the Gift of your Time. Thousands of older and disabled adults in our community struggle to get by. For these individuals a little extra help can make it possible for them to remain safe and independent in their own homes. If you have just a couple hours – a week, a month, or a few times each year – you can make a huge difference in the life of a struggling neighbor. You tell us what days, times and areas are convenient for you, and how you would like to serve. You can be matched with the same person for regular visits, or just be on a list for occasional rides and chores. The Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers program will provide you with all the support you need to help a neighbor with any of the following types of essential support: Transportation for medical appointments and essential errands; Simple chores, yard work and home repairs; Help with housekeeping and meal preparation; Friendly visits and supportive phone calls; Respite breaks for full-time family caregivers; And other support that can help a frail, older or disable neighbor. Call us at (586) 757-5551 for more info.”
