To bear fruit, a fig tree needs the ground to be cultivated and fertilized. What do you do to “bear fruit” like a fig tree? The prodigal son returns home to his father and is offered mercy and forgiveness. Do you offer others the same compassion? The Pharisees and scribes realize that they cannot throw stones at a woman who has sinned because they too have sinned. Have you ever made a mistake? Do you judge others for their past mistakes?
Join us for this year’s Parish Mission Retreat, as we explore the three Lenten Cycle C Gospels that we will hear on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th Sundays of Lent. We will dive deeper into the messages behind the scriptures. Our three night retreat will be presented by our Parish team. We hope to see you there. All are welcome!
