MCREST

St. Blase is once again hosting our MCREST guests at The Women and Children’s Shelter in Mt. Clemens. They house approximately 50-55 women and children there on an ongoing and rotating basis. Our responsibility as host is to provide three meals each day for the duration of our host week. The donations that are received will go toward purchasing the food items needed. We are also hoping to have enough money to purchase bus tickets for our guests as well. So please be as generous as you can!

WHAT WE NEED

Laundry Packets – MCREST has asked if we could donate ‘laundry packets” to our guests for our host week. This laundry packet would consist of one detergent pod and one dryer sheet inside of a Ziploc bag. These individual packets are easy to distribute to the guests and therefore, alleviates additional costs for the MCREST Shelter. Laundry Packet donations can be dropped off in the Parish Office.
