There is an extended Liturgy of the Word where we share stories which remind us that Our God is a God of life and salvation. At the end of the Liturgy of the Word, we sing Alleluia! We all gather around and bless the baptismal font, which is now full. Our OCIA candidates receive their sacraments. It is truly a joyous time for our entire community! We gather at the table for the Holy Eucharist and complete the liturgy which we began on Holy Thursday.

“On the first day of the week, Mary of Magdala came to the tomb early in the morning, while it was still dark, and saw the stone removed from the tomb. So she ran and went to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and told them, ‘They have taken the Lord from the tomb, and we don’t know where they put him,’” (John 20: 1-2).
A warm welcome to join us at St. Blase for Easter Mass as we celebrate the Resurrection of the Lord.
